CAREER MILESTONES
A PATTERN OF DEEP TECHNICAL EXPERIENCE, OPERATIONAL LEADERSHIP, AND TEAM BUILDING
His career has primarily focused on supporting the critical power and cooling infrastructure of Mission Critical facilities, including data centers, hospitals, banks, financial institutions, trading floors, and manufacturing and industrial clients. For eight years, he served as a Senior Field Service Engineer, responsible for installing, starting up, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing critical infrastructure power equipment.
Subsequently, he transitioned into management and eventually executive leadership roles within several industry OEMs. Additionally, he dedicated five years to overseeing all day-to-day operations for a data center owner-operator in New York. In this role, he held dual positions as the Director of Data Center Operations and the Senior Data Center Engineer, contributing to the design and construction of a state-of-the-art data center.
He has also selflessly served his community as a Volunteer Firefighter on Long Island for over 35 years. There, he has held both company and department leadership roles for several years as a Company Past President and former Department Lieutenant.
He has also generously shared his time and talent as a lifelong trumpet player, performing at community events in his local area. Through his continued involvement in music, he reflects the same spirit of service, dedication, and community commitment that has defined so many other areas of his life.
Outside of work, Robert is a family man, married to his wife Teresa for nearly 30 years. They have three wonderful children who are all college graduates and aspiring young professionals between the ages of 22 and 26. He is an avid runner and athlete, playing competitive softball and roller hockey. Additionally, he is an Adjunct Professor at The New York Institute of Technology, where he enjoys teaching the young and incredibly motivated engineers of tomorrow.
I stand in front of students at NYIT and I tell them the truth: this industry will challenge you in ways no classroom can prepare you for, and that's exactly why it's worth your career. The world runs on the systems we maintain, and the professionals who keep them running deserve to be developed, not just deployed.

BBA in Finance
The University of Texas at Austin
Certified Treasury Professional
Rice University
Project Management Professional
Project management certification aligned with enterprise execution discipline.
I earned my MBA, my CAPM, my CDCDP, and my LEED certification not because I needed credentials on a wall, but because this industry demands leaders who never stop learning. If I'm asking my teams to grow, I also have to model that commitment myself.
